Battle of the Cryptos Conference in New York [Event Coverage]

Held in the historic Grand Hyatt Hotel, Battle of the Cryptos was a conference that brought together the best minds that blockchain and cryptocurrency have to offer with an outstanding list of speakers.  The large presentation space in addition to the tabling space outside allowed the cryptocurrency community to choose from multiple insider perspective presentations or ample networking surrounded by the latest innovations in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.

Having multiple insider perspectives allowed for an eye opening and immersive setting.

Battle of the Cryptos featured a broad range of speakers from American Institute for economic research, Pantera, tZERO, discussing the future of cryptocurrency in U.S. states and countries around the world.

There were professionals from several different sectors who attended, including cryptocurrency management, technology, policymaking, and more.  Keynote speaker, Mr. Patrick Bryne, Founder of tZERO and CEO of Overstock.com gave an exceptionally interesting talk on the history of the original “liberalism” in American society and Blockchain’s potential to fundamentally challenge economic and social order in countries worldwide.

It was a unique opportunity to hear from the most influential voices in the space. This included large digital asset funds like Pantera, founder of Polymath Trevor Koverko, Anton Golub of Lykke, Jeffrey Tucker and many others. The general sentiment was of course positive towards the future of Blockchain assets. Tucker gave an insightful speech into the reason why he was skeptical of Bitcoin several year ago, and how he eventually learned to understand the technology behind it.

The main purpose of the event was to present leading expert and insider discussions on what is happening in the blockchain and crypto markets right now. It was also a chance for investors new to the space to learn more about the technology they are investing in.z

The three main subjects of this event were Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and the market surrounding them, how investors are using the cryptocurrency space to make profit and crypto hedge funds, which are using popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin.

From the Battle of the Cryptos Conference it is clear that those in the industry are optimistic for what is to come in the future of blockchain and the cryptocurrency market.
